Seriously entertaining. I came away with some new knowledge and got to experience a game that I've always meant to see but never wanted to play.
Hope ... to see more Let's Plays from Reasearch Indicates.
Oh, and I think Dr. Grant says, "You've bred raptors."
Thanks again!

To be honest, it's games like these that make me wonder why people try to set goals that they know they'll never achieve. If they waited just another year
...
or two, they would've made a great game that could have easily been named one of the best games ever made. Also, Halo was one of the XBox's launch titles. You said that Trespasser came out in 1998, and the original XBox didn't come out until 2002. So that argument you brought up on (think it was) level 7 wasn't really that valid with the release date since there is actually a four year span of time between the two game's release date's. Off that, you did a good job with this 'Let's Play' and I enjoyed every second of it. Now, to say something about the MAC 10 back there; the MAC 10 is a cousin of the Uzi 9mm, a close quarters weapon system (CQWS) designed for annihilation of enemies within a residential area. For its purpose, it is reliable, compact, fairly accurate if fired correctly, and is actually fairly weak. It's not the best weapon but it's useful in some situations.
P.S. It's sad that the SPAS-15 isn't in this game. The SPAS-15 is a very similar weapon to the SPAS-12; the only difference is that the SPAS-15 uses a clip magazine rather then the barrel storage unit of its predecessor. This allows it to be able to hold just as much ammo (if not more) and have a much faster reload speed because you don't have to put the shells into the weapon one by one. The main problem with the weapon is that it's heavy and bulky, making it a very noticeable weapon.

This game is not as bad as some people give it credit for. It has nice puzzles like the keycards in The Town Level, and others. The gameplay is just
...
fine, and the Arm System is easy to get used to. Research Indicates plays through this game beautifully, and while he cheats occasionally (Like in the Industrial Jungle on the Black Rock platforming puzzle which I have done fairly.), he still manages to do a great job. Trespasser will always remain one of my favorite video games ever.

Though my expectations for Trespasser weren't met, my expectations for this LP were surpassed.
Plenty of effort on each update makes this LP shine. Research ... Indicates has polished a turd into something enjoyable.

Subject: Horrible Game.. Great Playthrough
I remember Trespasser as a teen, and wanting so badly to be blown away by it. I can honestly say that I've never been so disappointed by a game.
Fortunately ... enough, Research Indicates is a great commentator, both in voice and content. His knowledge about the game, and basically anything related to it (like computers, programming, physics, and the like) keep things interesting through to the end. And when he can't think of anything to say, he just throws in a movie clip.
It's quite a feat to keep someone's attention for four hours while simply playing through a game, but Research Indicates does it. Great job!
